Life is full of pain that can be measured on a scale from 1-10. A Christian is measured by the way they live compared to Jesus. Join me in my battle of wits against Fibromyalgia and keeping the right heart to stay in the fight.

Are Christians Negative?

For a Christian, the battle must be raging on the inside. There is always an inward fight with our own self will.
A Christian that knows how to "wash their face"in the way that Christ has shown us. Having a polished countenance in trials, tribulations and dealing with the devil is a sign of maturity.

With all this fighting "on the inside" it is easy to think how understandable it would be to loose it every now and then.
This is true....
But what keeps a Christian positive about the inward battle is that every time we put our own will down and decrease our nature, the will of God gets stronger and stronger. He will increase.
What's the point to that?
Jesus will increase so much that we will eventually look just like Him.

Him.....

Jesus Christ that's coming back for a people in His name.

A Servant's Heart

How much time do I actually spend focusing on others? I think what really gets God's attention is that I am not always praying for myself and my own wants. I want to live a life pleasing to Him.
Having a servant's heart in all I do.

Be Still

Every now and then, He reminds me. He reminds me because He really loves me...

What is Beauty?

I am not completely comfortable with the fact that we naturally judge by the outward appearance. There is a beauty we all have within.
But what about our outward appearance? How do we show ourselves as a christian even without someone really knowing us?
I talk a lot about shining for Jesus, but what about that polish on the outside? Do we need that, too?

Why wouldn't a healthy outward appearance be a reflection of what's going on inside?  I wouldn't select a withered piece of fruit any more than I would an ugly picture to hang on the wall. But people aren't fruit or art.
Still, there is something within a person that can resonate with others.
Anything worth having takes effort even sacrifice, perhaps even within ourselves.

A Peculiar Treasure

The Lord love variety. I find it interesting that what we put a great price on He gives supplies us freely. Did you ever wonder if he was trying to tell us something?
This kind of beauty only comes with immense heat and pressure. It's not easily found either. We have to dig deep in the earth, and then.....a polishing and cutting process begins.
He call His people a peculiar treasure.
I think in a life striving to be a Christian we become His jewels.
I have to say this has always helped me when I feel the pressures of every day life.
The more he allow me to take, the more brilliantly I can shine for Him....
