For a Christian, the battle must be raging on the inside. There is always an inward fight with our own self will.
A Christian that knows how to "wash their face"in the way that Christ has shown us. Having a polished countenance in trials, tribulations and dealing with the devil is a sign of maturity.
With all this fighting "on the inside" it is easy to think how understandable it would be to loose it every now and then.
This is true....
But what keeps a Christian positive about the inward battle is that every time we put our own will down and decrease our nature, the will of God gets stronger and stronger. He will increase.
What's the point to that?
Jesus will increase so much that we will eventually look just like Him.
Him.....
Jesus Christ that's coming back for a people in His name.
